I wanted to point out a discovery I made this week regarding dakota front driveshaft yokes and 99-04 grand cherokee front driveshafts.
So any grand cherokee (GC) with the reprezza style CV front driveshaft will need to swap it out for a standard u joint style driveshaft when going over 3" of lift. I would recommend swapping it out if you go to anything over stock height and plan to disconnect the front sway bar. the plunge style reprezza joint at the front pinion does not have enough operating angle to work with a flexible suspension!

the parts needed to convert to a universal style driveshaft with a double cardan at the transfer case are:
- dana 30 pinion yoke
- NV247 u joint yoke for the front out put (Tom woods or IRO)
- Drive shaft.
you can try to find a drivesahft from a GC with a NV242 in it, but around the lower mainland, those are hard to find.

will continue this topic next week...

Always working on the next "great" idea...
